Michelle Lehnardt at Scenes from the Wild created a beautiful video about her friend, Noémi, from Hungary. Noémi became interested in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after reading Michelle’s blog, and…you can hear more of her story in the video, or read more on Michelle’s blog here (see surprise #12 on Michelle’s list) and here (Michelle and her husband went to Hungary for Noémi’s baptism).
But Noémi has a message for moms of Mormon missionaries, and so this video also kicks off our week of celebrating motherhood from a variety of facets. (Michelle is also a missionary mom, for the second time. Her oldest just returned from Italy, and her second son just left for his mission to Russia.)
Hello Michelle Lehnardt, I am so grateful and impressed that a passion of yours could become such a blessing in the life and lives of someone as faraway as Hungary. I am a mother of three boys and two girls, one son left just as two came home and our youngest daughter will be putting in her papers in March as our last son comes home. My husband and I both served a mission, so Missionary work is at the heart of this home and so we can appreciate your effort with your blog. Bless your heart.
Greeting. Welcome to the church. My late husband and I have three sons and they all served missions, now our first grandson is serving a mission and many more grandchildren will do the same as their time arrive. Your wonderful joy in the gospel is what strengthen my testimony and grateful for every missionary and their families who support them on their mission. I know that the missionaries love the people they serve. Sure love your blog, it is a great missionary tool, keep it up.
Thank you for this story. Our son is currently serving in the Hungary, Budapest, mission. Very inspirational…
