More and more I turn to a good book. I love to read. I also enjoy scrapbooking, but I find myself at a crossroads there so I haven’t done much lately. I wish I was one of those people that worked out. 🙂
I love to work on my blog and read LDS blogs.
I also love to read LDS fiction and non-fiction
and the Scriptures. I’m taking a class at BYU-
Salt Lake (just auditing, not for credit), so I get
to do lots of reading for that class, “The Book of
Mormon”. One of my favorite hobbies is gardening.
I can’t wait for Spring. For now, in the winter months,
I love to look through seed catalogs and plan and
dream of the perfect garden!
Hobbies? Well, I’m not one to sit around, so I have a few.
Reading
Piano/Organ
Service Projects (I actively try to create them, since I’m not one to be able to just “see” where service is needed like so many can)
Digital Photography (Taking a free class right now to figure out camera and Photoshop)
Family History – I DO do genealogy, but I’m a writer, so I’ve been trying to write profiles up on various lives of people…kind of, tie the bits and pieces together on a timeline, write it up with photos
Gardening (Veggie and flowers )
Cooking (trying to teach kids this before they leave to college!)
Future hobby: Digital Scrapbooking, but first I need to master the camera and Photoshop
Reading
Blogging
Playing the piano
Watching a good movie
Talking with friends
Napping!
I absolutely love to knit fun textured long scarves and interweave lots of silk ribbon and yarns through the pattern to make it interesting. It’s my favorite thing!
I also like to quilt. I use a lot of fabrics that look like shabby chic colors and enjoy making ‘crazy quilts’ using ribbon, silk threads, buttons etc.
Reading! I just finished the Twilight Series and enjoyed it that. But I do like reading inspirational books, and from time to time get out one of my old Nancy Drew Mysteries and read one of them. Kinda silly, but it takes me back to my youth.
And, like Cheryl, a good nap!
