Every year, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hosts pageants in Nauvoo, Illinois; Palmyra, New York; and Manti, Utah. This year, for the first time, a pageant was also held in Britain on the grounds of the Preston, England temple.

After attending the British pageant, Elder M. Russell Ballard had some impressions that led him to direct his recent Brigham Young University/Education Week address to the women and young women of the Church.
