Heather @ Women in the Scriptures invited people to share their testimonies of the Book of Mormon to celebrate the birthday of Emma Smith (which was yesterday, July 10). Today, as part of our Book of Mormon series, we’re sharing her Book of Mormon testimony post with you. Be sure to look at the comments for the links others have shared to their Book of Mormon posts. You can also find more thoughts from Latter-day Saints about the Book of Mormon at bookofmormononline.com
And to contribute to her invitation, we’ll be including a link back to this post so that people can read the testimonies in our series to this point:

If you are a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will you consider sharing your testimony of the Book of Mormon? There are many ways to do it. You can share a mormon.org profile and include your testimony of the Book of Mormon as other Latter-day Saints have done. You can share in a comment here or at Heather’s blog. You can share on Facebook or Google+ or through a video at YouTube. Whatever you do, let us know so we can link to it!

The Book of Mormon has a special place in my heart. I can’t quite explain it, but whenever I thoroughly study it, I feel lighter than air, like I’m somehow inflating. In short, the Holy Spirit can be felt so intimately when I read it’s words. In conjunction with the Holy Bible, it has brought me closer to Christ than anything else in my life. I highly recommend this sacred book to anyone who has not read it.
