This is a great video showing how the relationship between a father and son was strengthened when the teenage son made deliberate efforts to implement counsel given by an apostle, Elder M. Russell Ballard.

How poignant and sincere this video is! How gratifying to know that the keys to the stronger relationship are within everyone’s means of communication. My husband died eleven years ago, when my son was four. He is a fine son at fifteen today but oh, it breaks my heart to see the dimension of life that was lost to him, growing up without a father. People need to cherish the gifts of life more deeply and be truly grateful. Many do not know what it is like to be without what others take for granted. Dylan is a son to be proud of in the video and I wish his family much joy. Thanks for this message-it will help my son be a good father when his turn comes.
