Today, we share a few (of many) links about different Mormon artists:

Some of the most well-known Mormon Artists are not known individually, but as a group — the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Read about the 2009 Mormon Tabernacle Choir tour here. You can also enjoy many of the choir’s songs, beautifully put to pictures, here. For example, read this post about gratitude for this beautiful world in which we live, and then enjoy the following video Mormon Soprano created:

The 2010 and 2011 Relief Society manual will be an updated version of Gospel Principles. If you are curious about some of our basic doctrines, this is a worthwhile resource to look through.

Singer Natalie Cole (a nine-time winner of the Grammy award) will be joining the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in December for its Christmas Concert. David McCullough, noted historian and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, will provide the narration. Tickets are free, but do require registration for the random drawing to distribute tickets (demand is always high). Find out more here.

Speaking of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, enjoy several videos including their music here.

This video includes the words from apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ testifying about how the Atonement of the Savior can help us face our trials in life.

First Person: MormonSoprano shares her video creation experience

Women Seeking Christ — Sat, 07 Mar 2009 07:57:58 +0000

If you have ever wanted to be a fly on the wall when someone makes a video for the first time, now’s your chance.

Perhaps you have heard of MormonSoprano. If you haven’t, now’s as good of a time as ever to explore her blog. Her site is filled with uplifting content. And this video that she created is no exception.

But the post itself about her debut into video-making was just such a fun read, we wanted to share that, too. In her own words….

(And, you know, if you have ever considered making a movie for YouTube, it really is a good read…you might learn from her experience how to save a few steps! {grin})

(As a side note, if you were wondering, first person essays don’t always have to be formal essays, and they don’t always have to be submitted here in their entirety (although original content that hasn’t been posted on your blog will allow us all to work together to share more uplifting content around the web). Links to blog posts work, too, if your site is consistent with our mission here.)
