Mark’s story has been one of the most influential in my life. I have heard him share his story multiple times. The false beliefs he developed began when he was a young child. (Next time you hear about an addict, and wonder why they just don’t stop doing what they are doing, please don’t assume that they are “just making bad choices.” So often — in fact, almost always — they need healing from deeply-seeded false beliefs that have often existed for years, if not decades (often since childhood).

I will be eternally grateful to people like Mark who bravely, repeatedly have share their stories to  help others find hope. They have been my little-s saviors on Mt. Zion.

Sister Johnson’s work is also displayed at the Newport Beach temple. She created this beautiful Christus statue in less than five weeks.

She has created a foundation “to create a sculpture garden depicting the beautiful lessons given by our savior Jesus Christ. ” The pieces on this site symbolize love, healing, faith, trust, miracles, and reverence.
