An analogy I use to explain going to the source is this: If you are researching automobiles to purchase would you go to the Volkswagen dealer and ask about Cadillacs? Would you go to the Ford dealer and ask about Jeeps? NO. You would go to the dealer of the make you’re interested in to get the most accurate information. So why go to the Lutheran minister and ask about “the Mormons”? Go to the original source and ask your questions, read our literature, participate in our services (take a test drive) and then you’ll have the right information to base your questions in prayer to God.
