My work found out about our predicament and one day doing the old usual at work it was then that I was approached by several guys at work. They handed me an envelop. There was over $600. I knew that I still would need to apply for food stamps and that there was still things to do but for that brief moment I was stunned. I, a grown man, began to have my awesomeness start to glisten from my eyes as I began to ask who did this. My boss (a fantastic guy) just put his hand on my shoulder and told me that an angel had told him of my problem and that if I ever need time off to let him know.

I have never forgotten that experience. It was a lesson in humility and meekness that I will always be forever grateful for. Heavenly Father really cares and despite what we might think that we can accomplish alone, it turns out that there can be a lot learned with our brothers and sisters and I learned a great lesson about the compassion of others.
