As I read about your mother, I thought of two women I know who have watched their babies pass away. One of the most comforting truths of the Gospel to me is that faithful mothers will have their lost babies returned to them in the Resurrection.

I like how you mention that your belief in the eternity of your own family is reassuring to you. I feel the same way as a Latter-day Saint. I definitely worry at times about how I’ll get along if a loved one dies before I do, but the Spirit reassures me with the knowledge that death itself does nothing to alter the bond between us. It can’t destroy that relationship.
