I wish that Mary felt Happy. Sometimes it seems that as women we are expected to be gloomy. I do acknowledge that she does smile slightly at the very end, but through the majority of the clip she is heavy, burdened and sad. Can’t women be happy? Even this woman “choice above all” rejoice?Even Elizabeth when she claims that the babe “leaped for joy” doesn’t seem joyous! Sorry to express frustration, but my family was critical of the lack of happiness they felt from the women in this new clip. I hope future pieces will encourage especially women to enjoy and rejoice in life and it’s beautiful blessings! Motherhood is joyous! This actor for Mary is beautiful in this interview, I wish we saw that same radiance in the clip. Sorry to be critical, I fully acknowledge how difficult it would be to play that part! Wishfully. Rejoicing in my own opportunities to be a mother.
