I need to read more in Spanish. It was an amazing experience as a missionary to read the Book of Mormon in another language. Not only did it help with me the language, but it was a little like discovering it for the first time. I'd always wondered what it was like to read the Book of Mormon with new eyes and that gave me a small taste.

I enjoyed reading this sweet post. I like the idea of reading the scriptures in a different language. In fact it has been shown that one can learn another language just by reading the Book of Mormon in a different language. My son served a mission in Costa Rica and he keeps his Spanish language skills sharp by reading the scriptures in Spanish. I imagine that hearing Luke 2 in Latin would be beautiful.
I loved Elder Cook's message in conference. Blessings to you and thanks for the thoughts!
