Nicole,
You are such a spiritual giant. I love the article. I am glad that both boys made it!
The scriptures tell us that the Lord will not give us any challenge that we can not handle.
     Keep up the writing.

I am also a twin mom! We had two boys, and really wanted a girl, then we'd be done. Much to our surprise, we had twin boys. (Our oldest was barely 4 at the time.) It has been the hardest thing in my life! But I absolutely adore those two boys! I still get the twinge of sadness that I never got my girl, but like you said, this is Heavenly Father's plan for me! I just have to remember that I get to raise 4 missionaries! :) Thanks for sharing your story!

I, too, am a mother of twin boys. The day that they were born, we found that our younger son was a pound lighter and a inch shorter that his older brother. They were 35 weeks and had twin to twin transfer. Their neonatologist said that our younger son may never catch up to his older brother. We almost lost them due to the twin to twin transfer. If they had not been born early; both would have died.
Our two youngest sons are miracles in our lives. Infertility has plagued my husband and my life. These two boys were answers to my husband and mine fervent prayers. Our family wasn't complete and we were selected to adopt these little boys.
When they were born early, our prayers increased. They did well in the neonatal intensive care. After 10 days, both boys came home.
That was many years and many, many prayers ago. Father in Heaven answered out prayers. We have adopted 5 boys; the youngest 2 are heathy, strapping young men like their older brothers.
Father in Heaven answers our fervent prayers. We have been richly blessed.
