It was something I wanted more than anything and it was also what I prayed most earnestly for. Then one day a friend shared Alma 37:6 with me and a light bulb went off. For years I had asked the Lord to give me the whole pie without asking for the simple ingredients first. So I began to ask him for the small and simple things like “please help my parents to have the desire for the temple” and “please help them to feel the spirit”. As I began to ask for the small ingredients, I could see the pie beginning to form! It was wonderful and just a few short years later we were sealed. I believe the small things are what truly matter. Thank you for sharing.
