This is just one quick memory of attending a conference in the tabernacle years ago. President David O. McKay was the beloved prophet at that time. In that era, tickets were not given out for the conference sessions. You had to go early to get a seat. I remember that my husband and I were in a line at 5 am for the first conference session. We both were hoping to see the Prophet when he came. We were in a line that was close to the entrance he would be going into. The Prophet and his wife were in their later years at that time. She was wheelchair bound. As the car pulled up to the entrance, He was helped out of the car. Then President McKay  walked  around to his wife&#039;s side of the car to open the door for her. Others assisted her into the wheelchair. He then held her hand as they went into the building. He waved to everyone. It was a priceless moment of time  to see the loving concern and deep respect that he had for his dear wife.]]></description>
