Sorry you didn't find the help you needed there. I hope you were able to find it. I have had to sometimes try different support people in my own struggles with anxiety and depression. Some people I have reached out to have actually exacerbated things! I've come to believe that is a way for God to show me who is the right person at the right time and to protect me from people who may not be the right fit for me where I am. Trust your process. God can help you find what you need, sometimes in unexpected ways.

Met her years ago...okay woman. Told me to contact her when I was at BYU. Suffering bad panic attacks, and I phoned her. Well, the tides turned. She was tired (I was too). I really needed help, and she didn't get it. Met her husband, as well, before they were married. He was kind, sensitive and compassionate.

Ahhh, sweet Anne. She restored my faith when I heard her as a single woman at Ricks college in 1979. She inspired me beyond measure as I struggled with my own 'logic' vs. 'faith' questions. Her grace, intelligence and honesty has been my rock many times. One of my favorite books is her Simeon Solution. It will all come to rights. . . eventually. What a joy to have her as a sister.
