Not only does he NOT do that, he refuses to even admit it when he acts out, even when it’s so obvious! He could stay away from me for 2 months at a time and then have the nerve to say that he hasn’t masturbated in all that time. Unreal. That’s not the worst though. He becomes very abusive towards me if i even bring up the subject. How do you handle someone like that? What do you do? I’ve tried everything I know, but it hasn’t worked. He makes empty promises and when I call him out on it, he gets angry. We’ve been married over 34 yrs. I guess he just don’t understand the pain it causes me.

Only women in this situation can understand the suffering. Women usually have the pressure that if the husband cheat on her she has to forgive him for the “good” of the family. Or if the husband is an porn addicted she has to help him to recover because she has to be a “good” wife NO! we have the choice and right to leave if we want no feeling GUILTY at all!!!

That gave her pause to think, but we didn’t really come up with anything. Somehow we only hear about failed marriages and fights against addiction.
