I can relate to your anxiety of wanting to please the Lord with your sincerity, but also needing His help to complete the task.

A few months ago I was speaking at a Stake Relief Society activity and I had months of prep time. I knew there was a message the Lord wanted delivered but I struggled to get focused and put the message onto paper. Through prayer, a lot of pondering and study I felt ready to compile my thoughts fully the night before the event. But as always happens, good ideas came flowing into my mind the day of and I wanted to make some changes.

Unfortunately, my 2 year old daughter stuck an eraser so far up her nose that day that I was in panic mode the entire day and my husband had to take her to the emergency room during my talk. I needed heavenly help, and got it. I felt calm, knowing my husband could handle his job at the emergency room and the Lord aided me in focusing in on the parts of my message that were of the most benefit to the women that attended.

Your violin story reminded me of my similar experience. Thanks Melanie!
