I’m noticing a trend. I’ll be crying after every post in this motherhood series. I baked a chocolate layer cake yesterday for my daughter’s birthday. I got it out of the pans but it turned out very dry. My sweet daughter deftly ate the frosting and pudding layers and declared the cake wonderful. I imagine we’ll have more legacy cakes in our future.
