This reminds me of the verse that talks about how our faith is planted by God, and it is grown and nurtured by his strength, so that no one can boast in their own strength and works. What a joy to worship a God who has completed everything in the perfect life of Jesus Christ. His perfect life and sacrifice is given to us, while our self-righteousness and sin is put on Jesus on the cross.

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
(Ephesians 2:8-9)

I don't think I knew that you could plant a whole pumpkin. I think I may just try that this year. :)

On a more serious note, I love Alma 32. Love it. I read it often and find much powerful wisdom and insight there.

Thank you for sharing your faith here.

I loved the visuals Heather! What a wonderful object lesson, I just kept thinking this would make a wonderful YW lesson or activity. I also had some introspection wondering where my faith was in this process.

What beautiful pictures and what a sweet story! This was a great reminder to me that even when we think our children aren't listening, the seeds we plant can grow into faith at the most unexpected times and places. Thank you, Heather!
