Thank you so much for sharing — I, too, have prayed for immediate resolution at times thinking I couldn’t bear some ailment a moment longer.
The answers have come in a myriad of ways — the best being when they were answered in God’s way & time.
Some were total healing, some were strength or patience to bear it, some came with angels sent to help me through what I thought was impossible!

This gives me much food for thought and I want to add my testimony to yours. Dealing with many chronic ailments in our household, we have not found the degree of healing that we have desired, either. However, there are times when we do get relief from symptoms for a while or when we are given the help that we need to get through things more easily, etc. We have come to the conclusion that the ailments are necessary for us to learn the things we are meant to learn in this mortal existence and that they are helping us to heal from spiritual ailments in ways that perhaps nothing else could. Once you learn about an ailment, it is hard to know if you should wish it away or learn to accept it and work with it and learn from it. Prayer and being given blessings goes a long way towards helping me to know when something is necessary and when something isn’t. I believe that our Heavenly Father wants us well, totally and completely, physically and spiritually and in every other way. However, we don’t learn much from total and complete health and neither do the people around us. I have faith that healing will come to me and those I love in His time and when it is expedient for us to be well.

I can also testify of healing. When I was about 14, I was a weeklong summer camp for LDS girls and I got some sort of infection in my eye. I couldn’t keep my eye open and there was so much puss and pain. The leaders were taking me down the mountain so I could meet my mom and go to the doctor, but beforehand one of the leaders gave me a priesthood blessing. During the blessing, I could feel the swelling in my eye going down, and by the time I got to town with my mom the redness, puss and swelling was gone. I know that was the power of God.
