I know Heavenly Father loves me and is aware of my struggles because of the many little hand-holds he leaves for me as I climb this mountain.

Wow. I love this image of hand-holds.

And I love the principle of compensating blessings. As one who struggles with chronic illness herself, I have seen such blessings in my own life and in our family.

One of the hardest things is to give up what we had planned our whole lives for, isn’t it?

I am am amazed at your willingness to sacrifice being a stay-at-home mom (full-time) to help your husband. You are another example of how Mormon woman come from so many different backgrounds!
