Part of the story you may not be sure of: You lived in the same area as Elder Gleckler and myself. Elder Gee told us you were amazing so we should stop by to visit you. It was a Saturday night when we stopped by and we were having our first baptism in over a year in Ostrava that night!! We met you and then had to leave. On our way out, I was prompted to just invite you to the baptism and was shocked when you said you would come (I didn't know how the seeds of the gospel had already been planted in you). You became friends with Petra (the woman being baptised) at the baptism and was invited to church. You came to church the next day and on our tram ride home you said you wanted to be baptised. When your date was set you invited the whole English class to your baptism (many of which came). From that, more people wanted to be taught the gospel and the missionary work and baptisms in Ostrava the next year were the best in the mission. You may not realize how instrumental you were in reviving the missionary work in Ostrava.

I love Eva's story and the beautiful photographs. My grandfather's family came from Kutna Hora (near Prague) and it made me so happy to feel the love and testimony of one of my Czech sisters. I can speak some Polish (my grandmother's family came from Poland), so it was also fun to see how many words I could recognize in the Czech text. Thanks!

What great faith you have Eva to accept the gospel so enthusiastically!
