When my daughter was 4 years old, she saw a poster of the newly released “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie and said:
“Look mom! Pirates of the Quesadillan!”

We still laugh about it!

Today, my 4 year old said,

“On Christmas Steve, we don’t go trick or treating. Right mom?”

In a Sunbeam class I taught there was little girl whose parents are from Ghana. One day, my co-teacher asked “where did we come from before we came here?”
The little girl heartily responded, “Ghana!!”

These are precious.

It’s one of my absolute favorite things as a mom to record the hilarious things my kids say. One of my favorites:

My husband and then 3 year old were having a “discussion” one Sunday morning. Every time she would say it was Sunday he would (provokingly) say, “No, it’s the Sabbath Day.” This went on and on until she left the room exasperated. Later, she came up to me and said,

“Mom, I know! Sabbath is Sunday’s middle name!”
